True performance management is about realising sustainable improvements in business performance through people. Our multi‐faceted people centric approach involves a focus on what we believe to be the key levers to achieving sustainable performance improvement ‐ management systems, processes, structures, data analytics and most important – people.

In 1998, Armstrong and Baron defined Performance Management as ‘a strategic and integrated approach to increasing the effectiveness of organisations by improving the performance of the people who work in them and by developing the capabilities of the teams and individual contributors’.

Our approach places particular emphasis on the 1st and 2nd line management communities. We are convinced that they are the critical link in delivering sustainable business performance improvement. Our BTEC Accredited Performance Management Programme – Active Manager® has consistently delivered productivity improvements of between 10% and 25%.
