“… Yorkshire Water WWAM is now a better place for our people to work. It’s a more controlled environment …people are losing less sleep at night …people in the field feel better, they know their issues are being tackled … teams have a more consistent, controlled work load.”

Carbon Reduction

Most organisations think that going green is expensive. The opposite can be the case. In collaboration with our clients, we have not just reduced CO2 emissions but realised substantial cost reductions at the same time. Our approach is made up of three phases;

  • Analytics
  • Measurement
  • Behaviour Change (organisation alignment)

The amount of data and information produced by an organisation on asset utilisation is vast. Understanding the key drivers that affect energy consumption across the end to end process is vital. What drives a process to consume more energy during different conditions? What information needs to be measured? Making sense of these datasets is where Trinity Horne expertise can help. In conjunction with our clients, Trinity Horne has developed a unique analytical approach to examining consumption raw data with the purpose of drawing executable improvement conclusions from that information. At its heart is a powerful suite of statistical analysis and modelling tools complemented by in‐house content expertise, real world process disciplines and pragmatism.

We work with experts within an organisation to identify all of the factors and variables that influence the carbon reduction objectives. Then we capture all available raw data – not just the well‐formatted and well‐known datasets, but also the poorly‐formatted and little‐known local records and files that provide rich additional insights.

The outputs of the analysis will lead to clear executable actions that can be used to reduce energy and carbon usage. In order to ensure that these improvements are implemented and sustained, Trinity Horne will ensure that the right leadership commitment is in place by implementing a proven Behavioural Change Programme ‐ MasterCoach®. This improvement programme is designed to equip managers with the confidence to drive carbon reduction commitment through their staff. Coupled with short-interval carbon consumption reporting our approach can ensure long term sustainable carbon reduction and cost savings.
